Bitcoin Under Downward Pressure: Many Christian Hopes Shattered

"Bitcoin never fails". This sacrilegious quote has often appeared on my social media feed, posted by Christian authors. The popular cryptocurrency has captured the fascination of many an Evangelical today. Since a majority of Christians seem to stake their entire hopes on this present age and desire to be materially prosperous and established in this present evil age, Bitcoin has been a great source of fascination in such circles. Finally, they believe, a system that will circumvent the government, cannot be taxed and lead to true freedom!
